Dirk Jochmans is a senior research manager at the Rega Institute at the University of Leuven (KU Leuven, Johan Neyts’ lab) since 2010. He is currently involved in different European programs focusing on novel antiviral therapies for neglected and emerging viral infections. Before 2010 he worked for more than 10 years in the pharmaceutical industry where he coordinated early discovery programs of novel antivirals against HIV. Within Organovir, Dirk will contribute to the research on human airway organoids.
