Kris Dierickx is full professor of biomedical ethics and a staff member of the Centre for biomedical ethics and law, Faculty of Medicine (KU Leuven, Belgium). His research and publications focus on ethics in genetics, ethics of research (integrity & misconduct), regenerative medicine, diagnosis for prodromal Alzheimer and Autism, biobanks and research ethics.  He published more than 150 peer reviewed papers. Kris Dierickx was and is a partner in 16 EC funded projects (eg. EuroPHEN, GeneBanC, EuroCareCF, STEPS, Eurogentest, Disk Regeneration, EnTIRE, Virt²ue, SOPs4RI, ITN OrganoVir). He received international grants and national grants, and is a member of several ethics committees and editorial boards. He acts as a contractual ethics reviewer in the European Union for Horizon 2020 projects and ERC grants.
