OrganoVIR ESR Represented Consortium at ASV’s 40th Annual Meeting

On 23rd of July 2021, Inés García Rodríguez, Early Stage Research (ESR) in OrganoVIR and PhD student at the Amsterdam University Medical Centers (Amsterdam UMC), presented her poster at the 40th Annual Meeting hosted virtually by the American Society for Virology.

The American Society for Virology (ASV), founded in 1981, is a society that serves the community of researchers in the field of virology. The ASV archive collects and preserves materials relevant to virology.

On the 40th Annual Meeting organized by the ASV, Inés proudly represented OrganoVIR and presented her poster, which described the polarity of infection and cell target of the main PeV-A genotypes. The poster also included her work on the study of Prechovirus Species A (PeV-A) infection in the Intestinal Epithelium.

“Although it was an online conference, I was delighted to have the opportunity to present my poster at the ASV 2021 conference. It was a great experience, and in the end, I had nice discussions with other participants!” – Inés on her experience at the ASV 2021 Conference.

We are incredibly proud of Inés for this amazing achievement, and we hope to see more presentations from her in the future! You can now also view Inés’ poster by clicking the button below.
